Obituary of James J. Darcy

James Darcy, age 67, of Deep River CT, passed away at his home on June 22, 2015. Beloved son of the late John and Eva Darcy, Jim was a lifelong resident of Deep River. Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era. He was a long term employee of Fortune Plastics in Old Saybrook CT. Jim dealt with many challenges and adversities in his life and is remembered for his devotion to his mother Eva with whom he lived with and cared for during her later years. He is survived by his three brothers, William of Ashford CT, Robert of Douglas MA, and Thomas of Hadlyme CT. as well as his two nieces Ariana and Rachelle, and his nephew Jack. Visitation will be held at Robinson, Wright & Weymer, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, CT on Friday, June 26th 5-7pm. Burial will be privately held by his family.
