Leslie helped my family move to CT in '79. Always a smile and many giggles. Professional and trustworthy. I later got my RE License and especially appreciated the effort she extended to us. My husband and I felt nurtured by Leslie.
Seeing her a various RE workshops, open houses and Board events, there was always a feeling of the bond that had been created years before.
Her passing no doubt is a huge loss to her children, grandchildren and extended family. The world was a better place with her smile and charm.

Leslie sold my condo for me and was a delight to work with. She was a great person and was inspirational when I was a fund raiser for the North Light on Block Island. She and Martine Price shared their knowledge of the Real Estate world and the CT River. She will be missed in Essex.

When my family moved to CT in 1969 I was 12 and thought it was so great to have more family in CT. We had left most of our family in Norwood/Walpole. We would get together for all kinds of parties and then I would babysit for "the kids" when I was older. I was fortunate enough to accompany Leslie and family on one of those road adventures to Sarasota, and at the ripe old age of about 18 I thought it was the coolest thing ever...until I got high smoking pot on the beach with some stranger (cute boy), and Leslie found out and put the fear of God in me. Although we grew apart over the years I have the fondest memories of Leslie and the whole family.

I met Leslie in "her" office in Essex when I came on to be the new office manager after Prudential purchased the firm. I've called her often after over the past dozen years since to take advantage of her knowledge and willingness to share appropriate information. She was someone I really admired in the business (a short list). Her humor, integrity, professionalism and smile will stay with me forever.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I first met Leslie around 1982 when I went to work for Atty. Bill Wellette in Essex. She was always pleasant to me and it was a pleasure to work with someone who knew what she was doing. I last saw her about November 2013 when I was working a part-time job at the Christmas Tree Shop. I recognized her, but asked if it was her because we hadn't seen each other in years. She was pleased to see me and me to see her. My sincere condolences to her family. Leslie was a good woman who will be missed by all that knew her.

She assisted my husband and I with our purchase when we moved to CT. (1979) She kept to process happy and simple!
I became a realtor in the early 90s and had the pleasure of doing several deals with her. She was professional and had a 'bouncy' demeanor, making it a good experience.
This is a loss to the entire real estate community.
To her family. . . sorry for your loss

Kari - I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose a parent. I grew up in Sarasota FL and was a rival of her High School as I went to Riverview. My brothers and sisters and oldest son still live there. That is home to me. Somehow I ended up here in CT which is my new home 28 years later. You look like your Mom she is a beautiful lady. If I can do anything for you all please let me know.
A mother is always with you, she is the voice in your head, the breath in the winter wind, the smell of summer and the sunshine that warms our faces and our hearts. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. We'll get together and discuss Floridaover a nice glass of wine.
All my prayers to you all... Janice
