Obituary of Harry Burnett Randall

Harry (Randy) B. Randall III, 67, of Old Saybrook, passed away on October 31, 2015. He was born in Hartford, the son of the late Harry and Catherine (Weisner) Randall and grew up in Larchmont, NY. An Industrial Engineer he worked in the defense industry for the majority of his career most recently at Electric Boat Company in Groton. Extremely bright and inquisitive he loved learning new things and was a self-taught artist, guitarist, photographer, and woodworker. Harry was a generous person and legendary story teller who loved spending time with his family and friends as they were always of the utmost importance to him. He will be dearly missed by all. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Katherine (MacConnell) Randall, his son, Scott Randall of North Kingstown, RI, and his wife Diane and their three boys Jack, Charlie, and Henry, his daughter, Lisa Stephenson of Concord, NH, her husband Benjamin and their two children Ryan and Emma. He also leaves his brother, Jeffrey Randall of Richmond, VA. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. His funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Saint John's Episcopal Church, corner of Main and Cross Streets in Essex.
