Pete it has been many years since we last saw each other and as I heard that Betty had passed I was saddened that I didn't know at the time. My condolences go out to you and your family. I can only remember the good times we had at New England Aircraft (NEAP), and the inspiration and knowledge you passed on to me. God bless DAVE Derynoski

Dear Family,
I knew Betty a short time, but found her to be a strong individual and a lovely lady. It was my pleasure to have tried to make her as comfortable as possible in her time of need, even though she didn't think she needed it!! Remember that the memories of your mom will be with you always...God Bless.

Dear Pete, Dick, Kit, Tom and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was one of my mother's best friends. After Mom passed away, Betty told me of some my mother's special characteristics that Betty liked. It eased some of the pain of missing her to know her friends loved her as we did. They shared many good times together. I can see Betty and you, Pete, sitting in the Kenyon's River Road house living room discussing the latest events of the day, of Essex, and of their families. Many a tale of sailing in Maine was relived over our kitchen table. My parents enjoyed Betty and Pete's company as did Carl and I on many occasions whether in Essex at the Nord's , the Kenyon's, or in our house in Killingworth. May many happy memories be with you. Betty is remembered as a wonderful person and friend. With my deepest sympathy. Anne Kenyon Nord

Dear Dick and Peter, Kit and Tom,
I remember Mrs. Schellens from my childhood visits to play with Dick. She was a very attractive and stately lady, always well dressed. She certainly had a passion for civic duties, such a plus for any organizations fortunate enough to garner her talents.
With deep sympathy, I am sorry for your loss.
