He was such a nice guy, about as unprejudiced as they come, which is a rare trait. They don't make 'em like him anymore.

Steve was one of my fellow realtors for years. I knew him as the most honest, and just a good person in our industry. I know he will be missed by family but also by his fiends and fellow realtors. I can only say what a wonderful man he was.

Steve was a bit older than I, but I remember him in high school. In particular I remember that he acted a part in a high school play and although he was considered to be a quiet, unassuming guy, he wowed everyone with his performance. He was the talk of the school for days afterward.
I've had a number of dealings with him over the years in real estate and he was always competent and friendly in his dealings with me and other agents that I know. He was a good man.
My sincere condolences to his family.

I first met Steve 16 years ago. It was the first real estate transaction I had done with Steve. He represented the buyers and I represented the sellers. The transaction was going fine,but my client was having problems moving some things and needed a pickup truck. I mentioned that to Steve in a conversation we were having and within an hour Steve was at the house with his pickup. Steve didn't really know me and didn't know the seller at all, but the minute he heard someone needed help he was there. That was the kind of man Steve was. And from that time on Steve and I were friends. He was a great man and one I will miss.

Sandi and all your family;
I remember Steve when your family moved to Deep River. Steve and I had the misfortune to be in Miss Drenan's 4th grade class. He was shy in class but out at recess he excelled at so many things I felt hero worship strike, (I was lousy at any recess games.) Steve became the guy to go to if you wanted a rental property, home, or an apartment at Milton Realty. He listened to clients' wants and intuitively knew what was the best solution. It was nice to know him over all these years.
My heart goes out to all of you!
With Deepest Sympathy,

Steve was incredibly thoughtful and generous. My fondest memories were during visits to Jeanne and Greg's in New City NY where Steve would insist on going out early to get bacon-egg sandwiches for all of us. And Steve really got up early. Thanks Steve for all those sandwiches. Will miss all the stories you told while we ate breakfast and sorely miss your beautiful attitude towards life.

Steve and I were both class members at the Westbrook Elementary school, when we first met. By 7th grade I joined him at VRHS in the class of 1964 because I had then moved to Essex. We have seen and talked with each other at several reunions. He was a strong friend to many! I knew of his bravery and positive attitude throughout the last year. I will miss him!
