My condolences to the family, and apologies for being unable to join you at The Gelston House. I was the soloist provided by Pastor Laura and was moved by the tributes and memories of her loved ones. I've been attending luncheons at the E. Haddam Senior Center for years and contributed to its building fund--and know several of the postmasters who had worked with her. I've lived here since 1978. The hymns selected were also sung at my own grandparents services, my parents and one of my five siblings. When I sing "How Great Thou Art" and "In the Garden," people tell me I remind them of George Beverly Shea. And I sang in Washington, D.C., with Billy Graham's secretary in 1955. Thank you all for the beautiful service. Robert Cumming, Moodus
