Obituary of Anita Louise Sause

Anita L. Sause, age 72, passed away on Saturday morning, August 20, 2016 at Middlesex Hospital, with her beloved family at her side. Anita was born on October 19, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas C. Warner, Jr. and Louise C. (Flannigan). She leaves behind her husband, Edward J. Sause, (married 1966) three children, Edward, Brian, and Daniel, and two grandchildren, Nathaniel and Nora. Predeceased by her mother, she was survived by her father and brother, Thomas C. Warner, III. She had been a resident of Westbrook, CT since 1969 and a prior resident of New Haven CT. Anita attended Day Prospect Hill Prep School in New Haven and graduated from Salve Regina College in Newport, RI. She taught at Stonegate School for handicapped children before raising three boys. A former member of the Westbrook Women's Club and a volunteer for a number of charities, Anita's bright personality gained her many friends. She will be remembered as a woman of great dedication to her family, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
