Obituary of Frances W. Barnett

Frances (Wernicke) Barnett, 90, longtime resident of Westbrook, died at her home on September 6, 2016 after a long illness. Beloved wife of the late Frank C. Barnett who passed away in 2006. Frances was born in Chester and raised in Westbrook, daughter of the late Steven & Sophie (Rudewicz) Wernicke. She graduated from Morgan High School in Clinton and went on to work at SNET for 33 years retiring as a supervisor, Frances was a faithful parishioner of St. Mark's Church in Westbrook and will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children; Janis A. Booth of Quaker Hill, CT, Deborah J. Murphy of Westbrook and Gregory P. Barnett of Lilburn, GA. Frances is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home on Friday, September 9th and interment followed at Resurrection Cemetery in Westbrook.
