Obituary of Linnea Ingraham De Merell

Linnea Ingraham DeMerell, 79 of Ivoryton, passed away on November 12, 2016 after a long illness. Lovingly cared for by her husband Nick DeMerell, "Nay-Nay" as she was fondly known by her family, is survived by her husband Nick, daughter Bethany Gates Parks, son-in-law Timothy Parks, grandson Patrick Stout, and twin granddaughters, Kennedy and Bailey Parks. "Nay-Nay" is also survived by two sisters, Carol Lanier (Donald, Sr.) and Susan Ingraham (David LaDucer), and four nephews, Alexander "Sandy" Alonzo (Renee), Glenn Alonzo (Mary-Lyn), Allen Alonzo (Kim) and Donald Lanier, Jr. (Liz). A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in Linnea's honor Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Deep River Congregational Church (Fellowship Hall), 1 Church Street, Deep River, CT. Interment will be private.
