Obituary of Katrina Merrill

Katrina Merrill, 76, passed away on February 23, 2017. She was born in South Paris, Maine, and a long time resident of Connecticut. She was one of twelve children, affectionately known as "Tink." Being a devoted Mom and loving Gram, she was the shining light of our family. Katrina was a vivacious woman who enjoyed life every chance she had. She treasured time with her family and friends, and will truly be missed by the many who loved her. She is survived by her three children, Michael Merrill and daughter-in-law Lindy Merrill of Clinton, Connecticut, Stephanie Vliet and son-in-law Captain John Vliet of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Tracey Salgar and son-in-law Mauricio Salgar of Deep River, Connecticut; grandchildren – her pride and joy, Thomas and Justin Merrill, Joshua and Meredith Vliet, and Gabrielle, Sophia and Alexander Salgar.
