Obituary of Edward Petzoldt

Edward Merrill Petzoldt, 88, of Old Saybrook passed away peacefully on March 26, 2017. He was born October 5, 1928 in Watertown, New York. His childhood was spent on a dairy farm in Beaver Falls, New York. Ed was the loving husband of Helen Hofer Petzoldt for 66 years. He was a kind and gentle man of integrity. Ed loved woodworking and spending time with his family. He worked for General Electric for 39 years as an engineer. Ed could fix anything, even if it didn't need fixing. Ed is survived by his wife Helen, his daughter Barbara (Ray), his son Curtis (Wendy), and grandchildren Benjamin (Erica) and Thomas Koski and Joseph (Krystin) and Jane Petzoldt. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be privately held by his family.
