Obituary of Robert C. Crimm

Robert C. "Big Bob" Crimm, 66, of Old Saybrook passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Middlesex Medical Center, Shoreline in Westbrook. Bob was the beloved husband of Denise ( Lavallee) Crimm. They were married in West Hartford on July 25, 1970. Bob was born in Bristol on January 28, 1951 the son of Jeanette (LeBelle) Valley of Southington, and the late Charles Alvin Crimm. He was raised in Bristol and was a graduate of Avon High School. Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Airforce serving during the Vietnam War. Bob was a mechanical engineer who specialized in the repair of Computer Numerical Control Machines. His specialized work took him to many companies throughout North America. Bob retired in 2013 after a 50 year career of machine repair. He was a true craftsmen and mechanic, one blessed with many skills and talents. Bob was an avid cook and a passionate barbeque master. He will always be remembered as being a positive person and a loving husband and father. Besides his beloved wife Denise and his mother Jeanette he leaves his son, Robert Crimm , of Palmer, Massachusetts, his daughter Darlene Crimm, of Ivoryton and his sister Shirley Crimm of Southington. A memorial gathering will be privately held by his family.
