On behalf of Founder Bob Bryan, President Beth Alling, the Board and staff of the Quebec-Labrador Foundation, I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to Cis and the entire Matthiessen family. Carey was a respected mentor in the field of marine conservation. He was a role model for all of us serving the environment. It was on Carey's watch as head of the Sounds Conservancy board that TSC became part of QLF in 1995. We will always be grateful for his trust in us to carry on in the highest tradition of TSC Founder Chris Percy.
A true gentleman, Carey, we salute you and want you to know how much you are missed.
