Growing up in Chester with John's grandson Jason, and then stopping in for breakfast at Debbie's Restaurant in Centerbrook, I'll never forget John's unique sense of humor. He had a sharp mind, was always up to date on current events, and a pleasure to talk to when I would run into him around town. My thoughts are with his family, as he will be surely missed by all.
