Obituary of Kathleen Bello Wells

Kathleen Bello Wells, 51, of Lyme, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 16, 2017. Kathy was the beloved wife of Steven Wells. She was born February 22, 1966, in Amityville, New York, the daughter of George Bello and Gloria Busby Bello. Kathy had a successful career at Xerox, where she has been employed for the last 20 years. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and dogs, traveling, biking, gardening, and skiing at their place in Vermont, but most of all she enjoyed being a mother. Besides her husband Steve, she leaves her loving family, her three children, Katelyn Wells of Lyme, Justin Wells and Jake Wells both of California, and her sister and brother in law Patty (Bello) and Steve Marshall and her nieces Christine, Kathryn, Elizabeth, and MaryKate Marshall, all of Old Saybrook. She was predeceased by her father, George Bello and her mother, Gloria Busby Bello. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook from 9:30AM to 11:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following at 12:00PM at Saint John Church, 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook.
