I am so very sorry for your loss. I was at UConn with Drew many years ago and have so many fond memories of him. He was funny, quick-witted, and always willing to help others (myself included) when we needed it. I can still see his smile! My thoughts and prayers are with you. -Brian

A gentle soul, a witty sense of humor, a deep knowledge of many things. A faithful son, brother, uncle and friend. A proud veteran with a passion for giving back to your fellow veterans in need. Andrew, you represented all of these roles and many more with the utmost class. I am very thankful to have known you and will never forget you. Rest in peace, cousin...until we meet again. Prayers and condolences for the family, loved ones and friends. God Bless.

Drew and I served aboard the USS Vulcan together and worked in the pump shop together. He was a great friend and we had many great times together..to many to mention here..most notably was the trip him and I and Wade Poland took to Rome in the spring of 89 during our Med deployment. we had spent the whole day wandering around Rome and when we returned to our rental car discovered that it had been broken into and everything stolen..maps and directions back to the ship..well knowing that the ship was A) in the water..and B) south of us, we decided to follow the coast all the way back figuring we would eventually find the ship..we did but along the way went through every little fishing village and town..stopping of course to slake our thirst..and it was a very dusty road! don't really remember what time we finally reached our destination but it was very late. one of the most fun road trips of my life and I will always remember it and drew. Please send along a date and location of his memorial service and hopefully I can attend.
