Obituary of Paul T. Pulcini

Paul T. Pulcini, 82, of Deep River died after a long illness, August 7, 2017 at Middlesex Hospital surrounded by his family. Devoted husband for 56 years to Theresa (Shumbo) Pulcini. Paul was born in Deep River, son of the late Dominic P.& Mary (Piampino) Pulcini, he graduated from Valley Regional High School and served our country with the U.S. Army, 2nd Battalion, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment stationed in Germany. Paul went on to work as a pressman for UARCO in Deep River retiring after 36 years, he belonged to the Knights of Columbus, St Joseph's Church, loved to garden, UCONN Girls Basketball. Most of all he loved his "Weekly Sunday School" at his sister Mary's house and having "Life" discussions with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his children; Mary P. (husband Paul) Narducci of Deep River and Thomas P. Pulcini of Westbrook, grandchildren; Nikki & Nathan Narducci and Ryan & Jake Pulcini, his sisters Mary Stevens and Josephine O'Shea both of Deep River. Paul was predeceased by his brother Dominic Pulcini II. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook on Saturday from 11-12:30pm, a prayer service will follow at the funeral home.
