Obituary of Anne Adams

Anne (Meehan) Adams, 89, a longtime resident of Clinton, CT, died peacefully on March 30, 2018 after a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. Born November 4, 1928 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Anna (Thibodeau) Meehan. Anne graduated from Bassick High School in 1946 and then Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. She was predeceased in 1994 by her husband Russell L. Adams. She was also predeceased by her sisters Rita Allen and Nanette Cooke, as well as her longtime companion Robert Smaldore. Anne is survived by her three children, Susan and her husband James Vasellina of South Glastonbury, CT, Daniel Adams and his wife Heidi of Ocean View, DE., and David Adams and his fiancée Nancy Lucas of Clinton. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Olivia Adams, Katherine Adams, Adam Vasellina, Daniel Vasellina, Megan Adams and Jack Adams. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at St. Mary's Church of the Visitation, 54 Grove Street, Clinton, CT.
