Obituary of Evelyn Ferrara

Evelyn H. (Quagliata) Ferrara, 93 of Old Saybrook died at home on April 15, 2018 with her daughter at her side. Beloved wife of the late Frank Ferrara who passed away in 1985. Evelyn worked over the years at several companies, Pratt Reed for several years, Gimbel's in New York for 13 years and lastly for CVS in Old Saybrook, before retiring. She will be remembered for her love of flowers and her gardens. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Judith Ferrara of Old Saybrook, Phyllis Christoff of Lebanon and Nancy Schmidt and her husband Raymond of East North Port, NY.She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Plano, Matthew Christoff and Michael Christoff as well as 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Evelyn was predeceased by her brother Joseph Quagliata. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10-11am at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook followed by a Graveside Service at Cypress Cemetery in Old Saybrook at 11:30.Contributions may be made in Evelyn's name to St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN, 38105
