Obituary of Sharon B. Perry

Sharon B. Perry, 50 of Chester died after a long illness at Chestelm Health Care & Rehabilitation in East Haddam on May 4, 2011. She was the beloved life partner of Lester Nemeth of Deep River. Sharon was born in Middletown, daughter of the late Frederick J. Sr. & Delores (Sweeney) Perry. She grew up in Chester, attended Valley Regional High School, the Deep River Congregational Church and worked as a lead person for Whelen Engineering in Chester for over 20 years. In addition to Lester, Sharon is survived by her stepchildren; Janet Hastings of Tennessee, Kevin Nemeth and Karen Schondorf both of Deep River, her brothers; Frederick J. Perry of Killingworth & Chester T. Perry of Ivoryton, a niece Tyler Ann Perry of Ivoryton, her aunts Edith Lesch of Tennessee & Violet Hull of Chester, two uncles; Donald Sweeney of Missouri and Michael Sweeney of South Carolina as well as 7 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandson. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 5-7pm at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook. A prayer service will follow at 7pm. Interment will be private at Fountain Hill Cemetery. Memorial donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to the VITAS Hospice, 628 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury, CT 06033.
