Obituary of Thomas J. Weglarz

Thomas J. Weglarz, Sr. of Essex passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Byington) Weglarz. Tom served from 1965 to 1971 in the United States Marine Corp Reserves. He worked 44 years for Waterhouse Development (previously known as Real Estate Services of Connecticut) prior to his retirement in May of 2010. In addition to his wife Barbara of 45 years he is survived by his sons, Thomas J. Weglarz, Jr. and his wife Heather of Haddam, and Michael Weglarz and his wife Paula of Deep River. He also leaves his grandchildren, Eric, Gunnar, Natalie and Haylee, and his constant canine companions Shilo, Shannon, Ladybug, and Shelby. He was predeceased by his sons, Peter, Paul and Mark.
