Obituary of Nancy H Trerice

Nancy (Heidtmann) Trerice, 76, of Westbrook passed away Monday April 18, 2011 at the Hospice Unit of Middlesex Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Edward C. Trerice for 56 years. Nancy was born on April 21, 1934 in Middletown; daughter of the late John and Sophie (Wolter) Heidtmann of Deep River. Nancy was employed at Pratt Read of Ivoryton, where she met her husband. She also worked at The Susan Bates Co of Chester, Knothe Brothers of Westbrook, and finally Leather Man Ltd, where she worked for several years before retiring. Nancy was a previous member of the Westbrook Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a current member of the Westbrook Congregational Church Ladies Society. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Gary W. Trerice of Bristol, son Russell S. Trerice and his wife Jennifer of Terryville, daughter Lori T. Larsen and her husband Ronald of Deep River, her four grandchildren: Andrew J. Trerice of Terryville, Jenni I. Trerice of Terryville, Anne E. Trerice of Windsor, and Jill A. Larsen of Deep River. She is also survived by her sister Joan Daniels of Chester, VT, brother William Heidtmann of Springfield, VT as well as twenty one nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her twin sister Doris Comstock of Athens, VT and brother John Heidtmann of Killingworth, CT. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Saturday April 23rd at 11 am at Westbrook Congregational Church, 1166 Boston Post Rd in Westbrook. Interment will follow at Winthrop Cemetery in Deep River.
