Obituary of Scott M Prevost

Scott M. Prevost, of Ivoryton passed away suddenly on Friday afternoon, February 4th at the Shoreline Medical Center in Essex. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Amy (Goodale) Prevost. Scott was born in Middletown on August 13, 1959 the son of Joseph and Barbara (Schwinkuski) Prevost. He has been a resident of Ivoryton for the past twenty five years. Scott was a professional detailer and owned and operated Custom Detailing in Old Saybrook with Amy for the past twenty two years. Scott had a tremendous love for his family and absolutely adored his two grandsons. His passions included riding his Harley Davidson, his beloved canine companion Harley, boating, and darts. Scott has been a proud member of the Southeastern Connecticut Dart League for over fifteen years. Besides his wife he leaves his daughter, Jennifer M. Prevost of Ivoryton, son, Harold F. Swain of Ivoryton and his fiancée Elizabeth Hallberg; beloved grandsons, Brenden Tyler Swain and Jacob Alexander Swain, sisters, Deborah Cirillo of Old Saybrook, Holly Cerruti of Melbourne, FL, Linda Boudah of Chester, brothers, Wayne and Cole Prevost of Old Saybrook, and a very large extended family. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Gregg Prevost. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12th from 2:00PM to 4:00PM with a Remembrance Service at 3:30PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. In lieu of flowers an organization which supports the rescue and care of Pit Bulls will announced at Scott’s Remembrance Service.
