Obituary of Harry R. Steele

Harry R. Steele of Killingworth passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 22, 2011. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on September 12, 1960 the beloved son of Elfriede (Forster) Steele Supernak of Killingworth and the late Raymond Steele. Harry was raised in Deep River and was a graduate of Valley Regional High School. Harry had worked at the Pratt Read Company and the Lee Company and last worked as a bus driver for the First Student Bus Company. He was a member of the Sobleski Society in Deep River. Harry loved people and was always there to help those who needed him when he could. He will be remembered as a good friend. Besides his mother he leaves, his sons, Brendon and Colby Steele of Greenfield, MA, two nephews, three nieces, five great-nieces and nephews and his Godfather, Harry Forster of Germany. He was predeceased by his sister Doris Duval and his brother Victor Steele. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. Harry’s funeral service will be held at 6:30PM. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
