Obituary of Lena Saglimbeni

Lena (Parisi) Saglimbeni, 92, loving wife of the late Concetto “Charlie” Saglimbeni, passed away Saturday July 30, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Palermo,Italy and immigrated the United States settling in Centerbrook where she was a resident for 50 years. Lena was a member of Deep River Congregational Church, a faithful attendant of Middletown Bible Church, enjoyed activities at Pastimes Senior Center in Deep River, and had a passion for cooking and reading. She was the center of her family and is survived by her son Anthony and his wife Abbie Saglimbeni of Deep River, her daughter Camille and her husband Leonard Kochanowski of Chester, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 66 years she is predeceased by her brothers James, Salvatore and Frank Parisi. Visitation will be Thursday August 4th from 5-7 pm at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. in Centerbrook. Funeral Services will be celebrated Friday August 5th at 11 am at Deep River Congregational Church with interment to follow at Centerbrook Cemetery.
