Obituary of Ronald Wilton Morrison

Ronald W. Morrison, 85, a longtime resident of Ivoryton, died on August 5, 2014 at Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chester. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Aldonia (Pearsall) Morrison. Ronald was born in Christ Church, Barbados, son of the late Gadelder "Tata" & Eva M. (Best) "Lil" Morrison. He emigrated to the United Sates at the age of nineteen, graduated from college in 1953 and went on to work for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for many years as a machinist/ technician before retiring. Ronald was an avid gardener and sports enthusiast. He is survived by his stepson Michael Morrison, a brother Edward N. Morrison, his two sisters; Muriel E. Chase & Cynthia E. Morrison all of Barbados, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th from 10-11am at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook.
