Obituary of Anita D. Baldoni

Anita D. Baldoni, age 67, beloved wife of the late Charles Baldoni passed away at her home in Essex on Saturday morning, October 1st with her loving family near. She was born in Middletown on April 20, 1944 the daughter of the late Louis H. and Jennie (Anderson) Wright. Anita was a life long resident of Essex. She was an avid reader and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten and she will be greatly missed by each of them. She is survived by her son, Donald Stevens of Middletown and his wife Julie; daughter, Dawn Powers of West Glover, VT and her partner Richard; son, Craig Stevens of Haddam and his wife Angela; grandchildren, Katrina, Candace, and Kristen Hardgrove; Katherine and Benjamin Powers; and Brian, Hannah, Ella and Adeline Stevens, and great-granddaughter, Kaydence Chambers; sisters, Karen Strausser of Old Saybrook and her husband, Harvey; Sharon Hardgrove of Centerbrook and her husband Everett; and brother in law, Richard Goodrich. Anita also leaves her step-children, Timothy, Charlie, and Jean and their families. Besides her husband Charles she was predeceased by her sister, Myrna Goodrich. Friends and Family are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, October 4th from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. Her funeral service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main Street in Centerbrook on Wednesday afternoon, October 5th at 2:00PM with burial following in the Centerbrook Cemetery.
