Obituary of Cynthia Lord

Cynthia (Murdock) Lord, 87, of Old Saybrook, loving wife of the late Marvin Lord, passed away Tuesday, October 4th at Gladeview Health Center in Old Saybrook. Cynthia was born in Westbrook; the daughter of the late John and Alice (Boone) Murdock. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Old Saybrook, a former member of Clinton Baptist Church, and a member of the Westbrook Historical Sociery. Cynthia is survived by her son Timothy J. Lord and his wife Susan of Pembroke, NH, her son Jonathan M. Lord and his wife Sherry of Charlottesville, VA, grandchildren Daniel, Jennifer, Sarah, Emily, and Elisa, two great granddaughters, and her sister Mary Freeman of Old Saybrook. In addition to her husband she is predeceased by her son Paul M. Lord. A Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday October 7th at 3 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 195 Old Boston Post Rd in Old Saybrook. Burial at Cypress Cemetery, Westbrook will be private.
