I'm so very sorry to hear about Ruth's death. She was such a wonderful person -- warm, friendly, a tremendous athlete and universally well liked by all. We were great friends during elementary school and my last encounter with her was when she organized our 30th high school reunion. The whole class had a great time together, due to her generous spirit and hard work. My special thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
With love,
Kathy Bella

Lisa ~
Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you and your family in this time of loss.
Your Mom will live on forever within you in body, soul and spirit. You are lucky to have had such a mother that showed you how to love and live life to its fullest by example of being the most she could be. She always had something good to say no matter the circumstances. Lisa, you are ultimate tribute to your mom by who you are.
We understand the difficulties and the advantages of living in two homes. You are always welcome to join Alden and Jacob here in Essex any time you would like or feel the need. You have an open door and your own room and the company of two step-bothers that get it.
Our hearts are with you we are always available
~Jim, Alden and Jacob

Ruth- feisty, happy, smart, funny and a had a profound love of family and life. We met her through many years of work on the water together but knew her by her professionalism, witty humor, great love for her sister, Nancy, daughter Lisa and all of her family. Talk dogs? You betcha. She filled so many aspects of personal and professional life....we will miss her cheerful smile and seeing her in the middle of a Nor'easter in the Zodiac surveying. Ruth, just wish we had made it to the dude ranch.
Our love to all the family, especially our dear Nancy. What will we all do with out her?
With deepest affection.
