Obituary of Janet Prann

Janet (Toppin) Prann, 90, of Essex, loving wife of the late Richard T. Prann, passed away Thursday, November 24th at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Hubert and Ann (Cochran) Toppin. A longtime resident of Essex she was a member of the Essex Yacht Club where she was an avid sailor and bridge player. Janet is survived by her son John W. Prann and his wife Nancy R. of Wernersville, PA, her daughter Susan Prann of Los Angeles, CA and her sister Anne Comstock of Ivoryton. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her sister Charlotte Comstock and a brother Robert Toppin. A funeral service will be held Monday November 28th at 2:30 pm at First Congregational Church of Essex. Interment to follow at Centerbrook Cemetery.
