Obituary of Eleanor J. Milton

Eleanor (Judson) Milton of Deep River died on August 12th. She was born in South Dartmouth, MA, the daughter of the late Carlton & Doris (Jewett) Judson. She is survived by six children, Stephen Milton, Sandra Milton, Brenda Milton Rudewicz, Linda Milton, Craig Milton, and Lisa Milton Rudewicz. Eleanor also leaves ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Eleanor moved to Nantucket in 1929. She grew up on the island and attended Academy Hill School. She loved Nantucket and returned often and enjoyed many happy summer months with her family at the Madaket cottage of her mom and wonderful stepdad, Ed Roy. She is predeceased by her sisters, Marguerite Roy Castello and Pricilla Moynihan Woodcock. Eleanor also leaves many relatives on Nantucket. A funeral service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Deep River, 1 Church Street, on Sunday August 17th at 1PM with burial to follow at Fountain Hill Cemetery.
