Obituary of Helen Maclean

Helen Maclean, age 83, of Wethersfield passed away on Friday, February 10th at Hartford Hospital in Hartford. Helen was born in Old Saybrook on August 13, 1923 the daughter of Archie and Ruth (Holmes) Maclean. She was raised in Essex and was a graduate of Pratt High School. Helen had been a resident of Wethersfield for the past 45 years and had formerly resided in Hartford. She worked as a bookkeeper for over 38 years in the accounting department at the former Connecticut General Insurance Company in Hartford. She will be remembered for her work ethic of being devoted and hard working. Helen leaves her sister, Marjorie Grisky of Essex, and her brothers, Robert Maclean of Franklin, Maine and Thomas Maclean of Essex. Helen's funeral services will be private.
