Obituary of Suzanne G. Pilbauer

Suzanne G. Pilbauer, age 84 of Chester and a former resident of East Haddam passed away on Monday evening, April 23rd at the Aaron Manor Healthcare Center in Chester. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry Pilbauer. She was born in Quebec Canada on June 19, 1927 the daughter of Odilas and Gertie (Crevier) Demers. Suzanne had been a resident for many years of Northport, Florida. She had a great love of gardening and was a former Vice-President of Northport Garden Club. She also was a gourmet cook, talented artist who enjoyed oil painting, and an avid traveler. Suzanne worked for many years as a bookkeeper at various area businesses. She leaves her niece and nephew, Janet Mosher of Essex, and Robert Prchal of Haddam, and several great nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Harry she was predeceased by her brother, Gilles Demers. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 27th at 11:00AM at the Town Street Cemetery in East Haddam. Arrangements by the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home in Centerbrook.
