Obituary of Marjorie Adams Lynn
Marjorie Adams Lynn, age 83, of Essex passed away on Monday evening, July 9th at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter Lewis Lynn who passed away on October 16, 2006. She was born March 27, 1929 in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of Raymond and Mildred M. (Stackhouse) Adams. Midge was a graduate of the class of 1947 at the former Pratt High School in Essex. She was a long time member of The First Baptist Church of Essex and a member of the church choir. She was also a member of The Essex Historical Society, and The Cappella Cantorum. Midge is survived by her three children, David W. Lynn, of Port Ludlow, WA, Nancy H. Johnston, of Essex and Spofford, NH, and Thomas A. Lynn, of Haddam, her five grandchildren, her sister-in-law, Irma Lynn Nuhn of Chester, her cousin, Deirdre Rutan of Essex, and her dear friend, Jean Netch, of Essex. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13th from 9:00AM until the time of her funeral service at 11:00AM at The First Baptist Church of Essex, 10 Prospect Street in Essex. Private burial will be held in the Riverview Cemetery in Essex. Memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie's name to the Cappella Cantorum, Inc., P.O.
