Obituary of John Post

Post, John "Jack" H., of Middletown, formerly a longtime resident of Deep River, died on August 2, 2012 at Apple Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. Beloved husband of the late Marceline (Cassie ) Post who died in 2006. Jack was born in Deep River, son of the late Eugene & Elise (Willete) Post. He worked for 27 years at UARCO, was an avid woodworker and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Chester. He is survived by his sisters Althea Robida of Wellfleet, MA, Alice Havens of Vero Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his sister Lina Hartwick and his brother Eugene Post. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7th from 10:30-11:30am at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook. Mass of Christian Burial will at St. Joseph's Church, Middlesex Ave., Chester at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at Fountain Hill Cemetery.
