I am saddened to hear of the passing of Linda Cook. We went to grade school together, and then to Morgan H.S. Both the Cooks and Fosters were large families in town and our siblings were in the same grades. My brother Kevin Foster mentioned not so long ago that he sees Jeff and some of the old crowd from Killingworth from time to time. Reading Linda's obituary, it brought me back to a time and place and left a smile on my face to hear she never lost that great sense of humor. My blessings and condolences to her family. She was taken much too young. You'll be in my prayers.

My thought and prayers go out to your entire family. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Linda. She had a way of making us all laugh - from her crazy halloween costumes, to her only could "happen to Linda stories", and from her and Maribels crazy adventures with the Amazing Race Game. We felt the love and pride she had for her family, especially her Grandchildren, in the stories we were so fortunate that she shared with us. Linda and I have shared many laughs and tears together over our pets. Linda, my friend you have left sadness and a void in all our hearts that will never be filled. May you be at peace with your Mom, Dad, beloved Jake, Maggie and Toby.

I had the pleasure of working right in front of Linda for over four years, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I wish i could express how sorry I am for your loss. I know how much her whole family meant to her, as she talked about each and everyone of you everyday. I enjoyed her stories of her family and her life. Linda was always there for me and became a good friend over the years. I will struggle for a long time at whelen without her, we spent 8 hours together everyday. I have never in my life laughed so hard being next to her. She was truly a wonderful, beautiful, caring loving women. How she will be missed. You are all on my mind very heavy, I am so sorry. Heather

I love and miss you Mimi . This all feels like a bad dream. Till we meet again please watch over me and Blake and keep us safe. I'll make sure everyday to remind him what an amazing woman you were and how much you loved him before even meeting him. Christmas mornings just won't be the same without your banana bread & my birthdays wont be the same without your cheesecake. You're at peace now, where you won't feel anymore pain & knowing that makes this all a little easier. Until we meet again one day, I love you .

Tracy, Jodi and the entire family . . . I am so sorry for your loss. I can remember sleeping over in the house on 9A and your mom's voice was very intimidating (she, of course, was yelling at the both of you because you were always fighting) but her voice did not match her smile and kindness. And her meals were delish! My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all. xo
