Obituary of Sally S. Nobert

Sally S. Nobert, age 69 of Haddam passed away on Saturday evening September 29, 2012 at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand S. Nobert, Jr. who predeceased her in June 2005. Sally was born in Hartford on September 10, 1943 the daughter of the late Stanley and Nellie (Hudson) Smith. She was raised in Warehouse Point and had been a resident of Haddam since 1969. She was a communicant at Saint Lawrence Chapel in South Windsor. Sally enjoyed sports and was a runner and held a second degree black belt in karate. She also was a writer, and was an accomplished knitter and sewer. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all of them. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy F. Hart and her husband, Sean of Chester, and Diana H. Bavasso and her husband Michael of Middletown. Sally also leaves her five granddaughters, and her sister, Linda Smith of East Windsor. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brother, Guy Smith. A Requiem Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 5th at 11:00AM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM to the time of the Mass. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Chester.
