Obituary of Virginia A. Davis

Virginia A. Davis, age 88, passed away on September 17, 2014 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Virginia was the beloved wife of Charles S. Davis for 70 years. She was born on December 15, 1925 in Huguenot, New York the daughter of William and Ruth (Simmons) Decker. She had been a winter resident of Fort Myers for the past 30 years and a summer resident of Essex since 1972. She loved to spend time outdoors tending to her gardens and working in her yard. Virginia enjoyed visiting to both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her husband Charles, she leaves her son, Charles S. Davis, Jr. and his wife Lilia, her granddaughter, Simone Reddington, and her husband, Mitch, and their children, Hailey and Piper, all of Manassas, Virginia.
