Obituary of William J. Costello II

William J. Costello II, age 66, of Cromwell passed away on September 22, 2014 at the Aurora Senior Living Center where he had been a resident for the past eight years. He was born in Middletown, the son of Lawrence W. and Pauline (Mowry) Costello. Bill was raised in Chester and was a graduate of Valley Regional High School in Deep River. He was a long time resident of Middletown and was an assembler for many years at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Company. He is survived by his brother-in-law, Frederick Jacobson of East Hampton, his aunt, Evelyn Bangs of Deep River, niece, Vanessa Willette, and nephew, Justin Willette, both of Portland, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his son, William J. Costello III, and his sister, Katherine (Costello) Jacobson. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 25, 2014 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. A graveside service will follow at 11:30AM in the Centerbrook Cemetery, Westbrook Road in Centerbrook.
