Obituary of Joanne V. Davis

Joanne (Viall) Davis, of Essex died on December 6, 2012 at Essex Meadows Healthcare Center. Joanne was born in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of the late George K. & Louise (Kappler) Viall. She is survived by her daughters; Caroline Monzani of Cambridge, MA & Susan M. Johnson of Boston, MA, her sisters; Gertrude Kloppenburg of Mequon, WI & Marjorie Djerf of Concord, MA and her grandchildren; Merrill Swig, Courtney Clough, Christina Berger, William Tyler Clough, John Swig and Emily Berger. Joanne was predeceased by her husbands John T. "Jack" Monzani & F. Kelso Davis and her daughters; Ann B. Monzani & Louise M. Clough. Funeral services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, Main St. Essex on Sunday, Dec. 16th at 3pm. Interment will be private at Tower Hill Cemetery, Edgertown, MA. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Massacusetts General Hospital Transplant Center, American Heart Assoc. or to the A.S.P.C.A.
