Obituary of Wayne Earl Heath

Wayne Earl Heath, beloved husband of Barbara Brennan Heath, of Clinton, CT, died peacefully January 6th, at The CT Hospice in Branford, surrounded by many family members. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, on January 21, 1943 and lived for many years in East Troy, WI. He graduated from East Troy High School in 1961. In WI, he leaves a loving family: son John and wife Sandy; son Jeff and wife Becky; sister Gail Blaha and husband Don; 8 grandchildren: Ben, Nick, Katie, Carrie, Eric, Jordan, Brady, and Tyler; a nephew Chris and niece Jessica. He moved to CT in 1983, where he adopted his second loving family: son Mike Tripp and wife Norine; daughter Karen Brousseau and husband Al; son Scott Tripp and wife Margaret; 7 grandchildren: Allison and husband Jason, Hannah, Lizzie, Jay and wife Stephanie, Keith, Curtis and wife Noelle, and Audrey; 3 great-grandchildren: Tim, Brianna and RJ. In WI, Wayne was an accomplished bowler and an avid rifle and bow deer hunter. In CT he travelled often with his wife Barbara to the Caribbean, and spent winter months in FL. Wayne loved to play poker at the casinos, and they also visited Atlantic City and Las Vegas (where they were married in 1991). In his retirement, Wayne took up the game of golf with a boyish enthusiasm. He was a Master Sheet Metal Worker for the Sheet Metal Workers' Local No. 40 in Rocky Hill, CT. He was also a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 2l at Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, CT. The public will be welcome at 12:00 noon for the service at 1:00 pm.
