Obituary of Jeanette Bella Bick

Jeanette B. Bick, age 90, a life long resident of Centerbrook and the beloved wife of the late Paul Bick, Jr. passed away on Wednesday evening, January 9, 2013 at the Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. Jeanette was born in Centerbrook on November 26, 1922 the daughter of Samuel and Concetta (Bombaci) Bella. She was a graduate of the former Pratt High School in Essex. Jeanette was a Postal Clerk at the Centerbrook Post Office for 18 years. She was an avid gardener and loved her Schnauzers, Leiba and Teena. She will be remembered as being a devoted wife and daughter. She leaves her nieces, Joanne Faraci and her husband Richard of Old Saybrook, Suzanne Scott of Haddam, and Kathy Bella Harris and her husband Jay of San Francisco, CA. Besides her husband Paul who predeceased her on February 26, 1990 she was predeceased by her brothers, Mario and Joseph Bella and her sister, Rose Weisse. Burial in the Centerbrook Cemetery will be privately held. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Shoreline Soup Kitchens & Pantries, P.O. Box 804, Essex, CT 06426.
