Obituary of John A. Ziobron

John Anthony Ziobron, age 70, a lifelong resident of Deep River passed away on Friday evening, February 8th at Chestelm Heath Care & Rehabilitation in Moodus. He was born in Middletown the beloved son of Anna Emma (Senfluk) Ziobron of Deep River and the late John Walter Ziobron. John was a graduate of the class of 1960 at Valley Regional High School in Deep River. He was a veteran of the United States Navy proudly serving his country aboard the USS Monrovia during the Vietnam War. Johnny was employed at Whelen Engineering in Chester for over 28 years working in the stock department. He was a devoted and loyal employee to the company. An avid bowler and enjoyed his league play at Saybrook Bowl in Old Saybrook. In addition to his mother, he leaves his sister-in law, Suzanne E. Ziobron of Deep River, his nephew, Thomas W. Ziobron, Jr. of Essex, and his great-niece, Amy Ziobron. He was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Walter Ziobron. Private graveside services with the Rendering of Military Honors will be conducted at the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River.
