Obituary of Marguerite C. Endrich

Marguerite C. Endrich, age 101, passed away on Thursday morning, March 7, 2013 at the Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chester. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick C. Endrich, Sr. Marguerite was born January 19, 1912 the daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Habisreittinger) Collomore. She was a life long resident of Old Saybrook and a graduate of Pratt High School in Essex. Marguerite was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Old Saybrook for many years; was an active member of the Estuary Council of Seniors and had a great love of gardening both raising flowers and vegetables. She leaves her son, Earl and his wife Emily Endrich and her daughter, Madeline and her husband William Tooker, all residents of Old Saybrook, her sister, Virginia Cook, of Essex and her 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Besides her beloved husband Frederick she was predeceased by her daughter, Viola E. Dozier, her son, Frederick C. Endrich, Jr., sister, Marie Rolf, brother, Clifford Collomore and her grandson. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook on Sunday afternoon, March 10th from 2-4 PM. Her funeral service will be held on Monday morning, March 11th at 10:00AM with burial following in the Riverside Cemetery in Old Saybrook.
