Obituary of Robert M. Parrish

Robert M. Parrish, age 76, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Robert was born in Guilford, CT on August 25, 1936, the son of Milton Parrish and Helen Roche. Robert is survived by Linda (Tiezzi) Parrish, his devoted wife of 36 years, his 4 sons and their spouses, Bob Parrish of East Hartford, CT, David and Elizabeth Parrish of Deep River, CT, Christopher and Jill Tootell of Dover, NH, and Richard Parrish of Westbrook, CT. He was adored by his two grandchildren Kimberlee and Courtney Parrish. Robert was predeceased by his parents and his older sister, Betty Lane. Robert had a dynamic personality and was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him, including his extended family and friends whom he held especially close to his heart. He was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching and discussing sports with friends and family alike. Visitation will be held at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St. Centerbrook on Thursday from 10-11:30am. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11:30am.
