Obituary of Steven J. McNally

Steven J. McNally, age 58, a native of Chester passed away at his home in New London on Monday evening, October 6, 2014. He was the beloved son of John and Lorraine (Hall) McNally of Chester. Steven was born in Middletown on June 8, 1956, raised in Chester and attended Valley Regional High School, he graduated from Norwich Technical High School in Norwich in 1975. He worked at several Lower Connecticut River Valley markets and was last employed in the finance department at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville. Steven enjoyed building model cars with great detail and was both an avid fan of stock car racing and the Indianapolis Colts. Besides his parents he leaves his sisters, Lisa A. McNally of Ormond Beach, Florida, Nancy M. Magnuson and her husband, Jon of Lebanon, his brother, John S. McNally and his wife, Lily of Plainville, his loving companion, Marie Arico, of New London and his beloved nephews, Jason, Ryan, Jacob, Ethan and Chandler. Steven also leaves his great-niece and great-nephew. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1PM by the Reverend Kathleen Peters of The United Church of Chester in the Centerbrook Cemetery.
