Obituary of Anne Dower Kowalski

Anne Dower Kowalski, 82, of Old Saybrook, died on Tuesday May 21, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Kowalski. Born in Hartford CT, she lived in Old Saybrook for the past 48 years. Anne was a devoted spouse, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a Eucharistic minister at St. John's Church in Saybrook, and volunteer at the Goodspeed Opera House and Shoreline Soup Kitchens. Anne was young at heart and she led a full and active life. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph J. Kowalski Jr. and Mollie of Hyannis, Massachusetts, and Peter Kowalski and Indu of Decatur, Georgia, two Grandsons, Rishi and Kiran, and her sister, Joan Dower of Manchester. Her funeral mass will be held at St. John's Catholic Church on 161 Main Street in Old Saybrook, on Saturday May 25th at 11:00 AM.
