Obituary of Pasquale Dibenedetto

Pasquale "Pat" Dibenedetto, 90, of Deep River, passed away peacefully at his home after a long illness on June 12, 2013. He was the husband of Elaine (Seaburg-Johnson) Dibenedetto. Born August 17, 1922 in Salerno, Italy, son of Vito and Concetta (Cesarano) Dibenedetto, Pat moved to New Haven as a child with his family. He is survived by his sister, Florence Borino of East Haven as well as several nieces and nephews. Pat moved to Deep River upon marrying Elaine in 1973, and retired from the U.S. postal service in 1990 after 25 years of service. A graveside service will be held on June 22, 2013 at 10:00am at The Swedish Cemetery, 184 William Street, Portland CT 06480 Donations in his memory can be made to Mitchell Farm, 300 East Haddam Road, Salem CT 06420.
