I first met Sammy at the church rummage sale back in 2000. She was organizing and managing the Silent Auction along with Peg Scanlon. I was taken by her graciousness, kindness, and warmth. She made me feel included and welcome as if I was a longtime friend even though I just met her. I also loved seeing her at the 10:45 Church Services with her loving family.
