Obituary of Lillie M. Heath

Lillie M. Heath, age 80, of East Haddam, the loving and longtime companion of Wiley E. Brown, passed away on Sunday, June 16th at the Marlborough Medical Center in Marlborough. Lillie was born on August 28, 1932 in Rural Retreat, Virginia, the daughter of James Randolph and Ida Elizabeth (Hall) Guillion. Lillie had been a resident of East Haddam since 2004 and formerly resided in both Chester and Deep River. She had been employed at the Monsanto Company in Deep River working in the packing department. Lillie loved music, yard work, gardening, and animals. She also had a great love of children. Always mindful of others, she will be lovingly remembered by her beloved Wiley and her entire family. Besides her companion of over 30 years Wiley E. Brown, of East Haddam, she leaves her son, Wiley Ferris, of Christiansburg, Virginia, her two grandsons, one granddaughter, five great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter, all of Christiansburg, Virginia. Lillie also leaves her sister, Annabelle Cote of Old Saybrook. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20th from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main Street in Centerbrook. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 21st at 1:00PM with interment following in the Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River.
